What is a Dental Bridge?

A dental bridge is how dentists “bridge” the gap between teeth lost to trauma or decay. A bridge increases the load on each remaining tooth because there are fewer of them to rely on. Think of a bridge like a fence post. If you reduce the number of posts in a long fence it lacks support and will likely fail in time.
