Cosmetic Dentistry in Salida, CO

Why Do I Need Cosmetic Dentistry?

The smile is a huge part of our appearance, and is the first thing people notice about us, besides our eyes. It is one of the main factors in the impression others form of you.

Research shows that those of us who smile are healthier in many aspects and even feel happier. Smiling actually does have physiologic health implications, so a confident smile is a big deal. At Ideal Dental Health we can improve your smile in many ways.

Can the color and shape of my teeth be improved?

When it comes to changing the color and shape of your teeth, we could consider veneers, crowns, or bonding. These options can improve your smile in less time than most cosmetic dentistry options. In some cases it can take as little as two visits. Visit our Veneers page or our Crowns page to learn more about these options.

If you are interested in changing the position of your teeth we have options that range from traditional braces, to SureSmile, which is a set of clear aligners that move the teeth and straighten them.

The SureSmile system is a series of custom made clear trays, that move the teeth a certain amount, with each one set to a predetermined end point. A number of clear aligners are made specifically for your teeth that you change them every two weeks. It works best with adults who deal with the public, or want the ability to remove the trays to eat. This method often requires fewer appointments than traditional braces. We would see you for a visit every six weeks versus every thirty days. The typical duration of clear aligner treatment with SureSmile is about fourteen months for adults.

What are my options for missing teeth?

When it comes to replacing missing teeth, we have a few options; Dental Implants are the current standard for replacing teeth. Bridges are units of teeth connected together, that bond on either side of the space. We also have the option of fitting you with dentures. Dentures are removable, clip-in appliances.
